What is the Pine-Sol Class Action About?

The Pine-Sol Class Action alleges that The Clorox Company sold certain scented Pine-Sol products contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria. The class action followed a recall announced by Clorox and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission on or around October 25, 2022. Clorox denies all claims and states that they did not violate any law. The settlement was reached to avoid the costs and risks of a trial and to provide compensation to the affected class members.
